Gary, What you are seeing is temporary object space growing. If you look at some of your jobs (Queries are the worst offender) by doing a WRKACTJOB, selecting a job (using 5), and then displaying the "Run attributes" option 3, you will see Temporary storage used for each job. This is just one of the things effecting your Current Unprotected used. An other use of this area is going to be Temporarily decompressed objects. When the 400 decompresses any objects that are compressed, its copy is placed in this temporary storage area. -- Pete Massiello OS Solutions International Phone: (203)-744-7854 Ext 11. http://www.os-solutions.com mailto:pmassiello@os-solutions.com root +--- | This is the Midrange System Mailing List! | To submit a new message, send your mail to "MIDRANGE-L@midrange.com". | To unsubscribe from this list send email to MIDRANGE-L-UNSUB@midrange.com. | Questions should be directed to the list owner/operator: david@midrange.com +---
