I was visiting a new client this week that has a new model 600 and the
manager was telling me that he was going to order a ASCII WSC to provide
dial up access.  I informed him about the lack of ASCII WSC support, but
configed his box for dial up SLIP and had it working in a matter of
minutes.  Needless to say he was extatic and happy I "saved" him $1700.  I
agree with you Vernon, dial up ASCII is dead.  IP works great.  BTW, for
LPD software, Network Instruments NIPrint also works very well with the
AS400.  BTW saw your letter in Midrange Systems.  You are all over the place!
