Kirk, Can it YES !! Will it depends on you. The most important step in choosing a firewall is to first define the security policy your organization is going to operate under, then look at the features and functions available in the Firewall product and see if there is a match. Also, be sure you understand, the traffic flow requirments, and the address implications. Version x.y (Not sure what the AS/400 product was released at) does not support Network Address Translation. Therefore if your existing network must have external IP addresses, using the AS/400 product means new/additional definitions, route tables, etc. internally. Where are you "public" servers, on the secure or unsecure LANs. What access do unsecure servers need to secure servers and data. What protocols are used to access this information ??
