Don't know how real you want.
To prove it I just did both an ISQL and a query manager query
against
a logical file which has select criteria. I asked for records to
be returned
which were outside of the select. None were returned.
I then used ISQL to try and retrieve data based on a RRN that I
knew
contained data that did not meet the criteria. Again no records
were
returned.
This is what should happen. Anything else should cause a problem
report for IBM.
BTY the file I used is dynamic select *NO.
