I think you can use the %DIGITS() bif to duplicate FxD. It's a digits
field. My experience has been that a character (FxC) sort will usually
do the same thing, without the potential for data exceptions. If the
data is always positive, just use the field as is. Digits ignores the
sign. FxP is a packed. Just treat it as a normal field in OPNQRYF.
