That 'applet' in Netscape is actually an application—version 1 of IBM's
Host on Demand product. It has only 3270 emulation, although you can use it
in a limited way on the 400.

Version 2 of Host on Demand includes 5250, as well as VT100 and CICS
gateway emulation. Info at
