I do what you are talking about regularly and rely upon it working as you describe. So far I haven't had unexpected results. Still, I don't have a current library very often. I haven't been able to see a reason to have one, yet. btw, I have not mentioned the dubious honors announced by Moderator Gibbs earlier.
