Neil,

I don't think that will work. A random number can be either lager than or
small than the last random number. (4 2 8 3 9 7) is a random sequence. The
Win98 release date is closer to a non-sequential ever-increasing series (1 2
5 7 9) :-)

Why not just write a comm program to dial up Microsoft and request the
release date of Windows98 ? :-)

I need to generate a random 5-digit number on an AS/400. What
is good?
        Is this a Rexx job?
