All right you guys.  I see that some holiday spirits are still floating around.

I've tried a couple and they all work pretty good, but do have the problem of
wanting to flag things like Notepad if the product has a "readme" file
association.  Someone does have to be awake to the warning messages issued.  
Some
manual intervention is required to complete the job, if the bytes recovered are
worth the time expended.

IMHO there is no wide difference in ability of these utilities and the time 
spent
shopping and comparing is a waste of resource.  Sort of like dishwashing soap,
they all do the job about as well as the next, so pick what smells the best. :)
