Most of the folks I know are going to any lengths to avoid putting MS in the
middle. Think about it. Do you want a critical link in your access to
spontaneouly crash multiple times a day?

We're looking for a secure way to permit our users to gain
interactive access to our AS/400 via the Internet.
After reading the promotional material for Microsoft's SNA Server, it
appears to be a viable solution:
Client <------Internet------>NT Server 4.0<-----LAN------>AS/400
(TCP/IP) & (SNA)
SNA Server 3.0
Anybody doing this?
Any gothcas?
What kind of encrytion is occurring between the client and the SNA
Server? PPTP?
Any other alternative solutions?
Thanks.
