I was under the impression that if you were using the old IBM SDLC card, or the new MPCA (Multi-Protocol Adapter Card) card for SDLC mode only, that you didn't need any drivers (like MPADD.SYS or SDLCDD.SYS). Does anyone know if this is correct ? (I could swear this was true when I last configured one - but that was with the CA/400 for Win 3.1 client). Have a customer who's been trying to get a new IBM PC with a new IBM MPCA card connected to a new IBM AS/400 using a new IBM 7852-400 modem using IBM CA/400 for Win95 V3R1M2 for about 2 months now - without any success. If indeed there ARE required drivers, none of which were shipped to this customer with the nice new IBM MPCA card, can someone tell mw where on the net I can swipe them from ? :-) ...
