NO !! Leave the Target as V3R6, then save and restore it to the V3R7
system. You want the RISC code not the CISC code anyway.

Yes, I have seen this as well, see #2 above..

Not sure I understand this issue, But it would sound like a
pointer gets lost. Is it Gobal or Local variable.
