Loyd,

The manual can be found in the "Application and System Support" bookshelf. The
book
is "Application Display Programming". There is also an API manual if you want
to go that
route. It is "User Interface APIs". Don't know what you mean by the
no support for refresh. Your code has to perform the refresh. You need to
read through the list and preform an update or rebuild the list. I can give
you
an example if you need one.

Using the UIM panel in the WRKPF utility from Feb's _Midrange
Computing_ as a base, I have started using UIM panels for my own
projects.

Where is the documentation for UIM panels? It wasn't on my Softcopy
CD, and couldn't get through to IBM's site.

Also, I don't need a header (Library...: xxx) on the screen, but the
UIM allocates screen space for it. How do I claim that space and make
my list bigger (more lines)?

Another question: according to the article, UIM doesn't support
something like F5 (refresh). When you refresh the file list in WRKPF,
you are sent back to the beginning of the list. But on IBM commands
(WRKSPLF), F5 leaves you on the same screen. How can I get my UIMs or
RPG to do that?

Thanks,
