Sannan, We are running V3R7 OS/400. I just applied a bunch of PTF's to enable the print range support: LICPGM PTF# 5716SS1 SF45145 SF40675 SF40506 Let me just reinterate my previous posting by saying that I can now use the CRTDEVPRT CL command however it still does not let me utilize the print range functionality. As far as your problem with the printouts going into send mode, take a look at the job log for the printer. You may want to set the timeout on the printer (or JetDirect card) a little higher. I find that this allows more time for the printer to accept incoming print jobs. Additionaly, make use of the Destinations Options on the Outqueue Description by putting 'XAIX XAUTOQ' as the parameter. This changes some of the settings for Host Print Transform.
