24 hours a day, 7 days a week. And it sure could. I had a S/34 15
yrs ago. It ran 2 yrs, 24/7. I only stopped to IPL it. NO hardware
or operating system failures. I had the same experience with my S/36
and so far (knock on wood), the same for my AS/400.

Max, by todays standards the S/34 is junk. In its day, it was a
very fine computer, and even pre-dated the S/38. Maybe it really is
the grandpappy of the AS/400.

Have a great weekend......
