Main frame systems currently have this ability.   One of the reasons for
this is not what is on the volume but protecting the volume itself from
use.  Expiration date/days does not always works!!!!!  There has to be a
better method of protecting a volume than the IBM's expiration date because
85% of the 400 community uses *PERM.  Thinking of that, expiration date is
worthless.  This might be a better method.
