Al,
     I did some of these back in the 70's from a System/3 to a Burroughs   
B1700. If I remember right, Burroughs had a conversion package at that   
time to move the sign from one side of the field to the other. It was   
fun, though.
     What you might do now, if you can, is to export it into a pc from   
the Unisys (comma, quote delimited), and then reimport it from the pc   
into your AS/400. Sorry I can't be of more help, but if I think of   
anything I'll let you know, or if you have any specific questions, you

Hi,

Has anyone ever done a conversion of UNISYS database files to an AS/400.
Apparently they store packed data on half byte boundaries, with the sign   
in
the high order position.

I am looking for some RPG code that someone is willing to share to get my
arms around this problem.
