Here's the error message I got earlier when I used a bogus code page
number. I did look in book SC41-5603 and the appendix does list what
looks to be the entire code page listing.
Message ID . . . . . . : TCP4993 Severity . . . . . . . : 40
Message type . . . . . : Escape
Date sent . . . . . . : 03/13/98 Time sent . . . . . . :
21:40:33
Message . . . . : CCSID parameter value 500 not valid.
Cause . . . . . : Only ASCII single-byte character set (SBCS) CCSID
values
are allowed for the CCSID parameter. The following ASCII SBCS CCSID
encoding
schemes are supported:
- ISO 8 (8-bit ASCII single-byte)
- ISO 7 (7-bit ASCII single-byte)
- IBM-PC Data (single-byte)
- IBM-PC Display (single-byte)
Recovery . . . : See the International Application Development book,
SC41-5603, for a list of CCSIDs that follow the supported encoding
schemes.
Correct the value for the CCSID parameter and then try the request
again.
