> Classic IBM scenario, >"the_right_hand_doesn't_know_what_the_left_hand_is_doing". > > Send THEM a bill..... I have a current problem open with them, 21458-500. After installing CA service pack SF46059, the AS/400 icon disappears from the Win95 tray. If I remove the service pack, the icon reappears. I reported this info on my initial call on 2/24/98. Yesterday afternoon, I received a call from a guy at IBM on this problem. He suggested (among other things) removing SF46059 to see if it fixed it. I told him that had already been tried and proven true. Then, upon arriving at work this am, I had a Vmail from Lindy at IBM. She is the person I have mainly been dealing with on this problem. _Lindy_ asked me to remove SF46059 to see of that would fix it. I left her a none too polite Vmail this am reminding her that she and I had discussed this before. And that somebody new was entering the arena from the IBM side and also asked this. Mind you, this is on an _hourly_ contract. -- -Jeff jlcrosby@fwi.com +--- | This is the Midrange System Mailing List! | To submit a new message, send your mail to MIDRANGE-L@midrange.com. | To unsubscribe from this list send email to MIDRANGE-L-UNSUB@midrange.com. | Questions should be directed to the list owner/operator: david@midrange.com +---
