There's a TAA Tool called Calculate Date Difference (CLCDATDIF), which will
give you the difference in dates between two dates.  You can calculate the
number of weekends in that time span by division by 7.  You then need to
make fine adjustments for start and end dates.  The Retrieve Date (RTVDAT)
TAA Tool will tell you if any specific date is a particular day of the week.
