        That's the point.  I BELIEVE that QSERVER must be started BEFORE
you
        start QCMN, otherwise some server jobs than need to run in
QSERVER will
        attach to QCMN instead.
        In my startup program I do STRSBS QSERVER several subsystems
before I
        hit STRSBS QCMN.
        RTVCLSRC for IBM's QSTRUP program in QSYS and look at it.  You
will see
        QSERVER being started second (right after QSPL), well before
QCMN (which
        is the last subsystem started).

                No, our startup pgm has QCMN immed followed by QSERVER,
then
        SNADS and TCP/IP. 
                We're going to try the NWSAA patch as that seems to be a
likely
