This is going to be a SLIP (or maybe PPP, v4r2?) connection, outbound.
Check the TCP/IP Reference for details. There are also some scripts that
control the whole thing.

Connection has to be asynchronous, not synchronous. Old ECS modems had to
be set manually. Are there soft-configurable ones now?
