David !

Look for a bad NIC card although usually (from our experience) once it starts it
doesn't stop. You might want to look for a PC that is not regularly used (i.e.
one that got turned on when the problem started and then off and not used for a
few days OR a share one OR someone off sick or on vacation since the problem...
