If you
have missed it. There is a blurb on the front page and a story on page 3 of the
WSJ that Intel is delaying Merced for six months. They claim it will take them
longer that anticipated to test the chip. I wonder if 1+1 will = 3 this time

So,
looks like no 64-bit computing for Microsoft until mid-2000. (Except, of course,
for those AS/400 that they have :-)
