Rick,

  DUPTAP is part of OS/400.  TAATOOLS has a DUPTAPIN and DUPTAPOUT for
duplicating tapes with only one drive. It stores the data from tape in a
DB file during DUPTAPIN and uses that for the DUPTAPOUT part.
