Jeff,

One of my customers and I worked with their product about a year ago
and it was not ready for prime time. They used a UNIX server (Pentium
PC size) as the host for the JAVA code and for any web pages or graphics
you wanted to serve up. That box connected to the AS/400 via SNA over
T/R or Enet. The problems we had were just getting the applet to run in
both Netscape and Internet Explorer. I believe it worked well in
Netscape but flat didn't go in IE.
At that time they were JUST getting print capability but it was very
kludgy. Also one problem with the web hosting side was that you had to
refresh EVERYTHING each time you updated. We had 70,000 images and only
added 3-400 per night so reloading the entire 70K every night was
rediculous.
Remember this is a year and a half ago so by now I hope they have
moved forward.
