ILE RPG Compile Error!!

Hi All,

I am facing some difficulty in ILE. I have coded one ILE module. I
 have a ISO  Date field (D spec defined as D type). I am moving this
 ISO date (CCYY-MM-DD)  to a 20 char field @TEMP by removing the separators.
 This I am doing

   *ISO0    MOVEL(P) ISO_DATE         20CharDate

 If the date is 1998-07-06, my new 20 char field contains '19980706'.
 Everything is fien upto this point.

 If I try to compile this member as a module (CRTRPGMOD), I am getting
 error  here. The compiler is saying that Factor1 (*ISO0) is not valid.
 Defaults to  blanks.

 But the same  member if I compile as a separate direct program using
 CRTPGM, then it is working well. What is that big difference between BNDMOD
 and PGm  creation as far as compilation is concerned. Let me know.
