After permanently applying all LIC (57xx-999) PTF's, the 'A' and 'B'
copies should be identical. It's normal to run on 'B', and PTF cum
instructions will get you onto the 'B' side before applying the package,
as when you're on the 'B' side you are able to permanently apply
pre-req/superseded PTF's when necessary during a LODPTF process.

On older releases/systems permanently applying all LIC PTF's would
change the panel selection for next IPL to 'A' automatically. This was
because in the older releases there was no other way to remotely change
the IPL source. Now we have the IPLSRC option on the PWRDWNSYS command,
and for a few releases now the system has automatically done a 'dual'
IPL (to A, then back to B) when needed to temporarily apply LIC PTF's,
so I SUSPECT it may no longer select 'A' after permanently applying all
LIC PTF's.
