is this clp code right?

in my last cl email i said 1 of the things i needed to know was how to
get a clp program to display a message on the screen once a menu
option has been chosen.

i tried to write this code, a sample is below. please tell me if i did
it right or wrong.

PGM

DCL VAR(&M1) TYPE (*CHAR) LEN (31)
END PGMMSG MSG('CIF DATA ENTRY PROGRAM RUNNING')

DCL VAR(&M2) TYPE (*CHAR) LEN (29)
END PGMMSG MSG('ORDER ENTRY PROGRAM RUNNING')

DCL VAR(&M3) TYPE (*CHAR) LEN (38)
END PGMMSG MSG('INVENTORY ENTRY PROGRAM RUNNING')


is this right? the only example i have to go by is one very similar to
this in my notes.
