Simple - you have a higher level service pack applied to the PC that you do the AS/400. In Canada at least you don't need a SupportLine contract to be able to order PTF's. Do you have the ECS modem configured & working ? Order SF47544 for the AS/400 to get it to the same service pack level, or you COULD just ignore the message if you're downloading service packs over the Internet direct to the PC (which must be how you ended up with a PC at a higher level that the 400). I say ignore because you need to get V3R1M3 ordered. It's a free upgrade so try calling IBM Software Direct. They shouldn't need to know much more than the company name and serial number of the system. Also order the latest CA/400 for Win95/NT V3R1M3 service pack to install on your 400 (currently SF48155).
