Thanks to everyone who replied to my earlier question about changing system values. Everyone recommended to use WRKSYSVAL or CHGSYSVAL. If you want the changes to take effect immediately, how can I do it? For example, the password rules, need to be effective next time the user login's to the system. He needs to follow the minimum length, composition rules etc. Similarly, if I change a application,s QSECURITY value from 30 to 40, how can I make it effective immediately? Do I have to restart the system or the application? What if I turn on auditing for user or application, do I need to restart the system? As always, any system commands you can share to achieve this is appreciated. Thank you again.
