Tim, Can you see the contents of a user space, user index, file, etc. if the public authority is *EXCLUDE and we are not using the same profile? One of our purchased applications and debug create objects in qtemp with public authority *ALL, the rest and our in-house code create qtemp objects with *EXCLUDE. Is authority for objects in QTEMP different? Just curious. Not only can I read and update files/data areas/user spaces etc in your QTEMP, I can also create and delete objects too. +--- | This is the Midrange System Mailing List! | To submit a new message, send your mail to MIDRANGE-L@midrange.com. | To subscribe to this list send email to MIDRANGE-L-SUB@midrange.com. | To unsubscribe from this list send email to MIDRANGE-L-UNSUB@midrange.com. | Questions should be directed to the list owner/operator: david@midrange.com +---
