If?  Yes, you can.

How?  Check the API (sorry, I forget the name) that lets you run as another
user.  We have a program that switches a user from running as a 'user' to
running as a 'query-user' mode; 'query-user' having a whole lot -less-
authority than 'user.'

Query-user has full access to Query Playground libraries, and read-only
rights to our main data libraries.
