The only difference here is that the PC arena has basically DEMANDED
it...but the midrange, mainframe, DEC...etc...markets have never even
given it a 2nd thought...and I'm even including all those fly by night
certifications from the ICCP boys...  

Point to ponder:  When was the last time you went on a interview and were
asked if you had ANY certificates?  When was having a certificate a hiring
criteria when YOU were looking for employees?
