Hi All,
I'm wondering if anyone has successfully
accessed DB2/400 tables from a LotusScript using the ODBCConnection
classes?
I've created an agent running LotusScript to get
data from the 400 but I can't seem to connect properly and I'm having trouble
finding help/ resources relevant to the 400 and Domino on the Web. My script
uses the ConnectTo method with a data source,user-id and password as parameters.
I put in an error trap to try and get some more info but the only message I'm
getting back is
"LS: ODBC could not complete the requested
operation"
I've registered the data source name as an
*Local entry in WRKRDDIRE as specified in the "Installing and Managing
Domino for AS/400" manual from Lotus and I'm using my own user-id and
password so I know they're valid. I can't see any messages being generated on
the 400 either within Domino Console or in QHST or job logs.
Do I have to set up the LSX Toolkit for AS/400?
The manual mentioned implies that you don't have to but is a bit vague on this
subject
Any suggestions/ advice would be
appreciated
