:::Does anyone have a simple command choice exit program that they wouldn't :::mind sharing (send privately)? (command PARM CHOICE(*PGM) :::CHOICEPGM(program)) The CL manual doesn't have a sample program. What I :::want to do is prompt for a list of members in a file. Where I'm confused :::is that: :::1) The first parameter has a C or P in position 21. What controls this? :::I'd assume that I want to return a list, so I would use the 2000-length :::field. :::2) In CL, how do I get a parameter that might be two different lengths? ::: Loyd -- About five years ago, I wrote a terrifice *CHOICE program in CL; it was published in Midrange Computing. The beauty of my program was that it was well parameterized. That is, you could easily go through and change about five lines and re-use the code. I even created a version for the old DOS version of flex/EDIT that prompted you and filled in the code. Slick. Lemme look around and see if I can find it. When I do, I'll post it to my web page and let you know.
