I think the limit to records in a subfile is 9999. The rrn is limited to 4,0. -----Original Message----- From: Greg Weber [SMTP:IGRWU@Packerland.com] Sent: Friday, September 18, 1998 8:21 AM To: 'MIDRANGE-L@midrange.com' Subject: Loading Subfile records Can anyone tell me if there is a limit on the number of records that you can load into a subfile? I have a file with 30000 records and when loading the subfile I increment the RRN and write to the subfile. RRN is defined as 9,0 The error I am getting is Session or Device error. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks Gregory R. Weber Packerland Packing Co.
