Stephan: Your stuck with writing a HLL program to acomplish the update. CL itself doesn't have the ability to update or write files. There MAY be utilities out there that will provide a command interfact to write / update files, but it's simply interfacing with some HLL program that does the update. david > > Hello, > I am just curious if someone can answer a stupid question for me.
