IBM has always allowed you to skip a single release, so I'm guessing you're 
currently on V3R7. If you're on V4R1, I'd question further. I've done two 
releases a couple of times for customers. It makes for a VERRRRRY long day, but 
it can be done. Just be sure to apply the latest cum tape for the interim 
release before you start the second one. It's a groaner, but it's necessary, or 
you could end up doing a scratch install. Stock up on magazines and munchies. 
You can't even organize documentation anymore.
