On one of my 400's I cannot get netstations to work. IBM's analysis. 'Delete
and reinstall
5648C05.' What is all this talk I hear about AS/400 reliability? All the time
I hear from
IBM 'IPL the system', or 'delete and reinstall'. I've received this delete and
reinstall
garbage before - Client Access. Client access likes to suck disk space. Not
only do
they put all of their programs under QDLS or the shared folders area, but they
also stick
them all in different directories under the IFS. For example, /QPWXCRB and
/QDLS/QPWXCRB.
It seems that during many of my upgrades from one release of OS to another they
drop one.
IBM's answer, delete and reinstall Client Access. Advise you to attempt a
'Version Check'
of your Client Access for 95/NT after upgrading your OS.
