Hi All,
My company uses the OPEN/CLOSE on all update operations in order to
avoid locking.  I am still curious about the way the IO
COUNT on the DSPJOB, for the file being updated (MKTLF022) is fluctuating
wildly up and down  --WHILE-- it is still on the FIRST
record of the (NEWSIC) National Account # driving file.

This is very pain-in-the-assish, as I like to understand why a certain thing is happening, and it doesn't make any sense that while it is on
record number 1 of the NEWSIC file that there would be any fluctuation (other than ascending) on the file being updated (MKTLF022)
