There are several solution to your problem.
- if your shop standard is *nomax for all files (this is the way we do it),
change the default value of the CRTPF command. To do that, you use the
CHGCMDDFT command.
- if you dont want to change the CRTPF command, you can use pdm 2 way. Create a
custom menu option (using F16) or put an option 14 in front of each file to
compile and type on the command line SIZE(*nomax *n *n), this parameter will be
applied to all 14.

hope this help

Hi,

Iam New to AS/400. So I want a little help from any of U.

I've got more than 300 Physical files in my test library and I wanna
compile and convert them to production library. The thing is I've had to
compile all these physical files with the same attribute i.e.

Member Size
initial Number of records : *nomax

i want to specify this to all my physical files. Is there any way of
auto compile all these PFs, so that each file is picked 1 by 1 from the
list with the common attribute.

Any help is kindly appreciated.

Prakash.
