I keep seeing character getting stripped out of messages (I'm using 
     cc:Mail). Looks like 80 chars, then remove two chars, insert CRLF, 
     then next 80 chars.........

I think it must be the mailing list server or something.  My margins get lost an
the paragraph becomes a single line, albeit a honking big line if it was a 
sizableparagraph.  I can send email to other users on the web and it doesn't 
 happen.  If this came as one big line to you and you want me to email it 
directly to you and ee if we have that same problem, I'll be happy to.  In fact,
I put your email ad ess on the cc:.
     
I am not using the Domino SMTP gateway.  We are supporting some old MSMAIL 
clientsalong with our many Notes users so we are using a third party gateway
