Yes, I know about the tool.  I am not currently using it.  The reason I
asked this question, was that there was an object from 1997 out ther and I
wondered why it never got deleted.  We IPL every two weeks.

                You are correct.  However you can clear it manually.  There
is a TAATOOL
                called DLTOLDQRPL, which allows you to delete objects over a
specified
                numbers of hours since they were deposited in the file.
