This is what I did:

(1) start menu > help
(2) click the find tab
If you've never used it before, you'll get the infamous help wizard.
I always click the maximize effectiveness of search option, rather
than make the help db small.

(3) after a snooze period, you'll get a text search box, and come up with
some options. I got one more than you did:

Command

Select this one, and you get an a to z index; down below
the f, you will see two options:
ftp
ftp command

You'll want to look at both of these.
The first gives the command line options
The second gives the subcommands, such as mput.

Neither of which explain subcommands.

On my Windows NT system I do Start, Help, and search for FTP. Look at
the topic for "ftp utility".
