Actually, there's a testfix for this PC5250 keyboard buffer problem 
with 5763-XD1 V3R1M3 & service pack SF50480.
I downloaded and applied it anbd it seems to fix the problem (wthout 
introducing any new problems as far as I can tell).
The testfix is available at 
ftp://testcase.software.ibm.com/as400/fromibm/SA76933r313/   Read the 
disclaimer.
(It's a replacement for pcslt52.dll)

Yep, it appears to be the same code level as SF49654 for V3R1M2, which
had
that problem reported months ago.  I can't imagine why they released
another
service pack with the same problem.  Bloody annoying, ain't it?
