BLOBs

Does anybody have any idea when (if?) IBM will support BLOBs and 
memo fields in DB2?  It's sort of a pain to convert Access or dBase
files without support for these data types.  In addition, modelling tools
like ErWin support them, but the 400 can't directly implement them yet.
