Wynn, Some computer illiterate judge ruled on the "look and feel" of an application and deemed it consituted "piracy" so Lotus has @sum(a2..a5) and Excel has @sum(a2:a5) ... two dot vertical vs two dots horizontal to avoid legal fees. gads! This is why "consistency" will always be a problem. If my company makes the applications "look and feel" like OS functions or if I even use the same command syntax as a competitor (not because I want to copy them but because it makes sense to the user) do I open myself up for suit?
