The point that's wrong with this whole thread is the perception that the
Internet is about clients, browsers & browser interfaces!

The Internet is about SERVERS!!!

The AS/400 just happens to be an extremely competant server!!!

I don't give a rat's a$$ what language you are coding in, what I do care
about is are you able to meet the demands of your individual companys'
marketplaces!!  At the same time, can you do it in a timely manner at a
competitive cost?

In the end, the marketplace will not be denied!

If using Java will get you there in the best way, then do it!  If RPG
Workstation code (with an appropriate front end) will do it, great!  In
reality, they will probably both be a part of most solutions in our
lifetimes!!!  BTW, most development environments will either generate
either java or rpg with a "flip of a switch"!

NOW GET TO WORK!!!
