Hello Mike,

There are two ways to do this:

1) Set up a device entry in the subsystem that allows signon by simply pressing
the enter key. The
associated routing entry automatically runs your application. Check the Work
Management guide for more
information. Security issues may negate this option

2) Start a batch job that allocates the terminal in question. The terminal
must be available -- not signed
on. The batch generally program uses the OVRDSPF command to point the display
file to the device (it is
possible to specify the device name when creating or changing the display file
and the terminal will be
allocated when the file is opened -- again it cannot be in use).

Regards,
Simon Coulter.
